To Newyork.....

2 months passed by - i forgot to scribble here about my trip here to NY.
Posting here few snaps. We started as a big team on a 4 day trip to Niagara, NY and Washington DC (covering most of northern America).

Though it was bit hectic, it really added a spice to our holiday mood.
We traveled in all the modes of transport like ship, air, train and by bus to see the places in this trip.

Few memorable moments to pen here.

There were sudden drops in altitude made by a small air plane during our trip to Niagara from Cleaveland.  The journey was even bit scary when the air hostess told to passengers who were sitting to the emergency exit window on what to do during emergency.

All heaved a sigh of relief except for my colleague's kid who was enjoying whenever the aircraft went down with a huge laugh every time.

The other one was during our bus journey to Washington DC from Newyork. Our bus was at 10pm and hence all though present at the spot were roaming to get quick dinner.

Our luck( or unfortunate to say so), the bus driver asked us to board the 9.30pm bus. Everyone except my colleague were there and he went to grab some food stuffs. I tried reaching him over phone but my bad luck no signal where we boarded the bus. I left him a voice message.

As the time clocked near 9.30pm, the bus driver started shouting that he will start the bus and there was a bit of chaos happening (they were holding the bus for us) which I was totally unaware waiting for my friend. Oops I got a call finally from him.

When we rushed to the spot, all our luckages were off the bus. The driver went and called the police. Somehow we got all our loaded luckages back and took the 10pm bus and reached Washington DC.

In Colombo...

As I had already mentioned, i had a chance to see the Colombo Bandaranayake International Airpot. I am posting few snaps which i took there. This is the only International Airport in Srilanka . When I returned from London, I supposed to have a stop over in Colombo--- the very same day LTTE attacked the Srilankan Military base which is ver near to this airport. So all the planes were diverted to some other location. There were some confusion among passengers when we saw the destination was showing as Thiruvanathanpuram instead of Colombo suddenly. We landed at Thiruvanathanpuram International airport and were inside the aircraft for some 4 hrs. We could suspect something fishy had happened in Srilanka. Then we started onceagain to Colombo after the pilot got clearance. I later came to know about the LTTE attack... See the first terrorist group which has airforce... Man, the world is going on so bad.

Another trip to UK ...

I made one another trip to UK. I came for a proposal presentation this time. I went to Colombo on the way. The international airport was really good and far away from comparison with our International Airport in India. Ok - I will blog on my experience here in UK a little later. This trip is a very short trip - only for a week.

Trip to St James..

I made a trip to St. James and Buckingham palace again ( again an unavoidable trip). The trip was good. I could see the people in London are cherishing each and every moment of their life here which I miss in India.

I hoped Indians should also be like this. Be in a safe place and njoying the wonderful life that GOD has given.

Few snaps here which I have taken there...

Another scintillating day…

This weekend – again due to some unavoidable trip, I landed to see in and around of Mysore. I am posting few snaps here….

Came to know that there was no lighting in the Brindavan for the past one week ( as told by my taxi driver) . It was totally ignominy to see such display there. When the clock went down to 7pm, it was too dark and we could not even locate our car. Added to the scene, there were school kids following one by one. If one gets missed …. it would be very difficult to locate since, there was a heavy rush. There was no information any where abt this failure except at the ticket counter, where it was written in a small paper with sketch – “Due to power failure there will be no illumination in the south end gardens”.

The first one…

Beautiful sunset in the Cauvery Basin, Brindavan garden.
